Welcome to The Rainbow Fish...

The Rainbow Fish-Fishing for Rainbows Blog is meant to be both a professional and personal reflection place. In the hamster wheel of life it is a place to sort out and bring together the smatterings of information and experiences that often muddy my mind.
Why Rainbow Fish -Fishing for Rainbows? "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister is a book I love because the message within it holds true for all, not just for children.

Basically, the book presents sharing, caring, and learning about ourselves to help us create and maintain relationships is what life is all about. One must give to get.

"Fishing for Rainbows" is the vision I use when it seems nothing is going my way...when the little niggling voice of negativity starts to pipe up. I "fish" for a rainbow...a good thing...anything...a person, a place, a thing that I love that I can reel in and replace the negative thought with.

I've been called "Pollyanna" and "glass half full kinda gal" when I take a positive stance in times of challenge - I take these labels as a compliment and keep on fishing :-) I hope you enjoy reading and sharing!
